The G450 is the roomiest of the long haul, private business jets, and it is also hailed for its technological achievement. In 2003, it received aviation's highest honor for research and development, The Collier Trophy, due to its successful extension of the advanced systems found in its design starting point -- the GIV/GIV-SP.
The G450 has a top cruising speed of Mach 0.85. At an altitude of 45,000 and with 14 passengers onboard, the G450 flies up to 4,350 nautical miles (8,061 kilometers) non-stop. That allows intercontinental flights. From Taipei, it can reach Moscow in the north, and any point in Australia to the south.
To assure safety during take off and landing, the G450 is equipped with the Plane View cockpit and Enhanced Vision System.
The G450 interior melds comfort and modernity. Each cabin has three separately controlled temperature zones. Advanced ventilation technology delivers fresh air throughout each flight. Aloft, natural lighting is achieved through twelve oversized oval portholes offering spectacular
